about

One fall afternoon I somehow felt sad, so I went for a walk to maybe lift my spirits a little. Since sitting by the river and watching the water run by didn't help much, I headed back home. After a couple of minutes walk a melody came to my mind, the one that was given to me some months earlier in "The Big Man Arrives". The vision of that melody being sung by a big choir with some dear friends finally made my soul lighten up again.

For the recording of the song I made my vision come true and invited a bunch of friends to sing the song with me.

lyrics

I was walking by the river
I felt the urge to find some rest
I found a rock next to the water
shaped just perfect for my ass

I couldn't stop my thoughts to wander
had some big weight on my chest
had to much energy for sitting
continued walking where I'd left

and then a melody came passing by
the weight was gone just at a glimpse
I couldn't stop to hum this melody
I think it must have been like this

I was hiking up a mountain
felt the snow melt on my hands
I had to carry up some weight then
it was gone just at a glance

As we crossed the shiny forest
I inhaled the frozen air
loved the smell of snow and winter
kept on chatting on our way

and then a melody came passing by
out of the perfect clear blue sky
I couldn't stop to hum this melody
I think it must have been like this

I'm here to write, perform and spread music that has its roots in pop with influences from soul, jazz and folk rock. Ever since I discovered the guitar as a means to express my feelings in 1985, I'm constantly refining and clearing the channel through which I receive, digest and send out music. I recorded "The Endless Stream Of Everything" to share my love and songs with you. ... more
