about

This is a story about forgetting stuff. Nothing big, nothing too important, just screwing up a little, then smile, laugh at your mistake and carry on as relaxed as before.

lyrics

I lay my feet up high in front of my television
I'll have a drink or two and meet some friends
I walk my parents dogs and go to an exhibition
do what I can that I'm not too stressed out

Play my guitar for all those hours inside my head
I'll write a song once every other week
The very moment I am sitting to write these lines
I'm in no hurry since my dreams last night

I know there was this thing I should not forget
I just can't recall
I wake up from the noise of my rushing head
I can't remember at all

Even though I'm buzzing I decide not to rush myself
I don't want to give in to my fearful thoughts
I lay my feet up hight in bed with my television
I'll watch some DVDs and get up late

I finally got myself to face what I thought I'd need
this one thing done and I'd be free at last
but all the mistery cleared up sooner than I expected
all you had to do was ask for saturday night

I knew there was this thing I had all forgotten
I just couldn't recall
I must have been too scared that I had to admit it
I remembered it all

about

Ben Martin Sankt Pölten, Austria

I'm here to write, perform and spread music that has its roots in pop with influences from soul, jazz and folk rock. Ever since I discovered the guitar as a means to express my feelings in 1985, I'm constantly refining and clearing the channel through which I receive, digest and send out music. I recorded "The Endless Stream Of Everything" to share my love and songs with you. ... more
